Since 2011, SNHR has been documenting severe human rights violations taking place in Syria, with hundreds of reports released. Today, SNHR is a source for numerous UN and international bodies. We have also helped the efforts to achieve accountability and justice for victims and survivors. SNHR has documented the killing of over 230,465 individuals, over 155,604 cases of arbitrary arrest and enforced disappearance, and the killing of over 46,368 women and children. In the course of our work, we have also been involved in hundreds of events supporting the state of human rights in Syria.

SNHR Inc. is exempted from federal income tax under Internal Revenue Code (IRC) Section 501(c)(3). Donors can deduct contributions made to SNHR Inc. under IRC Section 170. We are also qualified to receive tax-deductible bequests, devises, transfers, or gifts under Sections 2055, 2106, or 2522.
